Godis
A Redis-inspired key-value server in Go with concurrent TCP handling, RESP-like responses, append-only persistence, graceful shutdown, and a Streamlit web UI.

The Narrative
Built a Redis-style TCP server in Go that supports core commands (PING, SET, GET, DEL, EXISTS) with strict command arity validation and protocol-safe responses.
Implemented thread-safe in-memory storage using sync.RWMutex, enabling safe multi-client access with a goroutine-per-connection server model.
Added append-only file (AOF) durability with write-command logging, startup replay before serving traffic, periodic fsync, and graceful shutdown coordination.
Shipped a companion Streamlit frontend with raw command execution, key/value forms, response parsing, connection controls, and command history for easier interaction and demos.
System Highlights
TCP Server
Concurrent client handling with RESP-like parsing over persistent TCP connections.
KV Store
Thread-safe in-memory storage supports core key-value operations with predictable responses.
AOF Persistence
Write commands are append-logged and replayed during startup for data durability.
Web UI
Streamlit interface offers command execution, key forms, and response history for demos.
